TITLE: Software Architect
LOCATION: Columbus, Ohio
DURATIONS: 6-12 month Contract

Our client located in Columbus, Ohio is looking for a multiple experienced Software Architects. Candidates will be responsible for specifying and documenting the application architecture, reviewing detailed design, and ensuring that design and development artifacts are consistent with standards set by the team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Defining application architecture, performing design and code reviews, mentoring of the development project team developers.
- Work within the Standards and Architecture Team on technical, enterprise initiatives. This will likely involve vision setting, researching, training, and all phases of the software development life cycle.
- Be accountable for ensuring that the direction set by the Standards and Architecture Team and/or generally accepted best practices are followed.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree it IT related field
- Six years OO software development/architecture experience in either Java/J2EE
- Two years experience as a software architect
- Experience with multi-tier system development
