Due to continued strong demand for our products, the Rexnord Gear Group seeks experienced and safety conscious individuals for positions on 2nd or 3rd shift at our Canal Street facility.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

 

·         Successful candidates will be assisting with the set up and operation of slab mill.

·         Use gear cutting knowledge with the ability to read/interpret set up sheets and part drawings is essential.

·         Successful candidate will use basic shop math skills.

·         Also various other duties as required.

 

 

Requirements

 

-          We are seeking applicants who have experience operating hobbing and/or shaper cutting machines, as well as experience working to close tolerances.

-          Prefer Journeyman Machinist; will consider training less experienced individuals who have basic shop math and blueprint reading skills, or recent technical school graduates.
