Using Grainger’s unparalleled value proposition, the Site Relationship Manager will be responsible for maximizing Grainger sales opportunities for a designated account package by growing sales within existing accounts and supporting the existing account strategy. This individual will act in support of the assigned Account Manager. This is an entry-level sales position, with opportunity to grow within the sales organization.

• Understand Grainger’s Value Proposition and match it against customer needs to provide solutions and grow profitable sales.
• Identify individuals who can initiate an order or influence a buying decision.
• Demonstrate full compliance to company sales and pricing guidelines.
• Consistently seek new product knowledge and understand competitive environment.
• Fully leverage all resources and technical support provided by Grainger.
• Execute on account and contact/penetration strategy as defined by management.

Position Requirements:
• Self-motivated, possessing a high energy level, and a desire to win.
• Excellent communication skills and technologically savvy.
• Ability to listen, gain trust, and bring to closure an action, project, resolution or sale with customers.
• Ability to utilize sales process to uncover customer objections/concerns, determine appropriate approach and provide solutions.
• Knowledge of MRO products and their applications.
• College degree preferred, but not required; or equivalent experience.
