Project Manager to plan, coordinate, direct and supervise personnel, subcontractors and vendors ensuring they complete work on time and within budget, for a multi-million dollar project with safety, quality, integrity, and client satisfaction.. Establish and maintain Master Progress schedule, maintain owner, architect, subcontractor and vendor relations. Prepare budget and financial reports, maintain general contract and subcontract documents, establish and monitor administrative procedures including billings, safety, labor relations, while keeping management informed of the progress of the project. Candidate shall provide service to be the on site personnel support to manage and oversee the contract. Degree individual with ten (10) years of construction management experience with an emphasis on civil infrastructure and federal government work.
Description of Responsibilities: Manage a multi-disciplined team in the accomplishment of contract goals and objectives including responsibility for budget, staffing, and overall performance. Specific Responsibilities: 1. Acts as primary local customer contact for project activities; liaise with customer to discuss contract changes/modifications, staffing, and technical performance. 2. Acts as liaison among the customer, sub-contractor (as needed) in translating and fulfilling staffing requirements and changes/modifications of the contract. 3. Monitor fulfillment of contract requirements to ensure quality and timeliness of services/deliverables. 4. Develop and track additional requirements and contract modifications. 5. Prepare project reports covering company operations and contract deliverables. 6. Review project reports from employees and customer and brief upper management on the project’s progress. 7. Through feedback and evaluations from customer and project personnel, refine and evaluate project policies, procedures, and manuals as necessary to continuously improve the effectiveness of the project. 8. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. 9. Responsible for understanding company procedures for resource acquisition and support. 10. Ensure lower level supervisors and personnel are complying with policies and procedures. 11. Signs timecards, prepares performance reviews, handles discipline problems, and has hiring and firing authority. 12. Coordinate with appropriate vendors and organizations external to company and customer. 13. Ensure all invoicing and accounting is completed. 14. Responsible for the timely and cost effective performance of duties. 15. Promote the highest degree of safety and ethics standards at operational sites. 16. Direct the investigation and resolution of operational problems in conjunction with other management, technical and support personnel. 17. Ensure compliance to all safety and health rules and regulations, company policies/employee handbooks, and contracting requirements. 18. Ensure compliance to all OSHA, State Department and Labor Department policies and guidelines. Job Requirements, Mandatory: 1. Minimum of ten years Project Management 2. Understanding of Government Contracts, Statements of Work, correspondence, reports, and records. 3. Must be a dynamic leader with the capability to manage multiple tasks at all levels. 3. Proven ability to communicate with employees and customers including senior government. 4. Mature judgment and ability to perform work tasks independently with little supervision. 5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 6. Accurate and professional appearance and work presentation. 7.
