Job Description:
You will be part of the Siemens Managed Services team for our client Henry Ford Health Services working as a Security Engineer.
- Provides day-to-day operational support of the Henry Ford Health System (HFHS) security solutions of over 70 networked locations across southeastern Michigan.
- Third level line support for the following primary infrastructure components:
- Secure Email inbound/outbound filtering - Tumbleweed
- Internet Content Filtering - Websense
- Internet Caching - NetCache Appliances
- Firewall Protection - NetScreen O.S. / Juniper
- Remote Access Technology (Portal) - Juniper SSLVPN
- Network Load Balancers - Alteons & Netscaler
- Internet Anti-Virus Protection - Trend-Micro
- Enterprise-wide Anti-Virus Protection - McAfee Enterprise Policy Orchestrator (ePO)
- Two Factor Authentication - RSA
- Digital Certificates allocation & maintenance
- Receives daily Helpdesk trouble tickets assigned to the Security team queue utilizing the HFHS incident management system
- Ensures resolution of trouble tickets in queue are in alignment with established service levels
- Interacts with client community on a daily basis
- Focal point for new projects provisioning architecture & network designs following internal standards & data security best practices in cooperation with network services group
- Leads configuration & deployment of all security appliances (see above list) involved into a project solution, and provides proper documentation for support & maintenance
- Member of the Enterprise Security Group (ESG) team, and articulates new projects & solutions to ESG for further support & maintenance
- Provides project resource assistance / troubleshooting for security solutions
- Utilizes IP packet capture tools to perform analysis of production problems & to troubleshoot 3rd level support issues
- Excellent network skills and hands on experience at Nortel network devices
- Implements & develops security standards relative to corporate policies & compliancy laws
- Participates with the after-hours on-call rotation schedule
- Directly responsible for the analysis of received business requirements toward development of straight-forward security solutions
- Performs lab testing with evaluations of "hard" & "soft" security based tools
- Performs lab testing with evaluations of security equipment in pursuit of technical solution recommendations while producing technical solution summaries.
- Outstanding verbal and written communications skills

Required Skills / Experience:
- Direct hands-on experience with the above listed specialized solutions
- Demonstrated experience with security solution planning,, implementation, and maintenance
- Demonstrated experience with the IP packet capture tools such as Network Physics, Ethereal, etc.
- Ability to perform complex analysis for unusual security related problems such as; B2B tunnel configurations, firewall rules & policies, etc.)
- Working knowledge of inter-networking routing protocols and their integration with security appliances
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task several project assignments
- Ability to handle stressful situations relative to heavy project load and service ticket periods
- Ability to organize and prioritize daily workload and assignments
- Tumbleweed EMF-Email Firewall Administration
- Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA)
- Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate (JNCIA-IDP)
- Websense Certified Systems Engineer (WCSE)
- Possess the Citrix Certifed Integration Architect (CCIA) certification
- Advanced LIINUX / UNIX scripting experience
- Formalized training on Sun-Solaris

Education / Certification:
- Bachelors degree required
- Juniper platforms certify especially at Networks Certified Internet Specialist (JNCIS-FWV) & SSL VPN platforms
- Netscaler & Nortel Alteon Load Balancers 3rd level hands-on training & experience
- RSA/CA - RSA Certified Administrator (Systems Engineer preferred)
- Formal training on the McAfee ePO 3.5 & VirusScan 8.0i
- Advanced LINUX/UNIX scripting experience is preferred
- Formalized training on Sun-Solaris is preferred
- Professional Security Industry Associations / Affiliations are desired
