Description:Product SpecialistSiebel Technical ArchitectThe Global Oracle Practice has a requirement for an Senior Oracle Siebel Product Specialist. This individual must be Siebel Certified (7) with at least seven years of hands on configuration, integration and product demonstration experience as a Oracle Siebel Technical Architect. Individual must be comfortable working with functional users and modifying the Siebel product using Siebel Tools to demonstrate horizontal and vertical aspects of the software suite.A key interpersonal skill is the ability to inspire confidence in crossing the gap between the functional needs of a Business Analyst and the technical knowledge and demonstration capabilities of a Siebel Technical Analyst. They must demonstrate leadership qualities to be the lead Siebel technician at a project location. This is a leadership position that will often serve as Project Lead on Siebel projects. Siebel Verical experience in at least one Siebel vertical eClinical, ePharma, or eFinance is needed and Oracle OBIEE experience a plus.Essential Job Functions Business: Interpret requirements data, map current and future state business processes to the packaged application(s) being implemented, and develop plans to address functional gaps between the packaged application and the redesigned processes. Business: Develop a depth of implementation experience to address multiple integration points between functions, related interface and data conversion issues, and expanded setup and configuration requirements. Business: research and speak confidently about how other companies in the client's industry are using specific application Qualifications
The candidate must also understand the technical Siebel application infrastructure.Comfortable with client executives and able to lead a team of Siebel professionals.The experience level should be High-Senior/Principal and should be able to: Lead the execution of complex configuration of all Siebel components including one or more vertical applications, Account Management, email modules and Siebel Marketing functionality and custom Siebel scripting.. Develop high level application flows to support the business requirements Help to translate functional requirements into detailed design documents. Worked with functional and technical teams to determine optimal usage of the Oracle Siebel Financial Vertical data model. Create the system test plan and scenarios to facilitate user acceptance. Identify process metrics used to measure performance against organizational goals Develop user-level business processes and metrics used to measure Siebel performance from a functional, data model, and data interface standpoint. Technical: Know the relevant issues and considerations in selecting both technical software packages and vendors including their capabilities, the clients who have installed them, and the users experiences with them. Methodology: Provide consulting support to the project during the Vision and Strategy, Architecture, and Development phases. Management: Lead a team of 6-10 resources (CSC, client, and third-party resources) in your area of expertise to successful conclusion of a project phase. Business: Provide input in identifying issues and considerations for selecting business application packages and vendors. Relationship Management: Manage client expectations and balance the needs of CSC and the client to ensure satisfaction for both. Relationship Management: Influence decisions and project direction at the executive level. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Six or more years of experience in business analysis and enterprise vendor product implementation Experience working with CSC Catalyst and/or equivalent client or vendor-mandated methodology Experience working with integrated structure of the enterprise resource planning (ERP) product environment Experience working with how the client's current and future state business processes map to the packaged application being implemented
