JOB OBJECTIVE: Responsible for the daily operations of the showroom. Support branch initiatives that in turn support corporate goals while satisfying the needs of the customer in an efficient, timely and courteous manner. Building, developing, and motivating the right team of associates. Developing close relationships with building and plumbing contractors and retail customers and ensuring outstanding customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
In addition to the essential job functions described below, all associates will perform duties as requested by management. Assigned responsibilities and duties may vary based upon location side and operations.
Work closely with management to develop and execute Showroom Strategic Plan
Set price matrix/ parameters for showroom related products
Communicate openly and effectively with other associates to provide them with information
Develop and maintain marketing plan for the showroom
Assist showroom consultants in maintaining their OML
Update showroom displays
Support branch budget plan and goals
Manage tag and hold items
Manage special returns daily
Ensure showroom is well maintained and clean
Assist in conducting physical inventories
Human Resource Management
Maintain and develop a productive team by hiring, training, and providing professional development
Provide communication and motivational techniques in supervising, counseling and disciplining associates
Facilitate training showroom consultants on products, sales, systems and operations
Facilitate training
Assist General Manager with Human Resource Planning
Conduct annual performance evaluations
Establish and maintain work schedules according to business needs
Customer Relations
Ensure customers are assisted as needed
Maintain and develop relationships with suppliers
Address and resolve customer complaints on a timely basis
Explain company policies and procedures (warranty information, deposit collection policy, return goods policy, etc.)
Work with Outside Sales associates to secure and maintain showroom and builder business
Assist showroom consultant and builder Outside Sales associates to achieve sales goals
Accounting/ Credit
Ensure all associates understand and properly use the credit card & check verification process
Ensure cash drawer is reconciled daily, properly, and money is deposited
Ensure product marketing through merchandising and promotions
Support credit efforts in Accounts Receivable (A/R) dispute resolution
Budget process activities
Review and manage expenses
Maintain all computer systems including the network and equipment
Review daily sales and profit figures Qualifications: -at least 3 years of showroom management experience
-proven history of improving results
