Immediate Need in Ohio for a Shift Supervisor for the Energy department. Prior management or supervisory experience is required. A degree in an Engineering discipline (prefer Mechanical or Chemical) is required. Bachelor's degree is preferred; Associate's degree with significant experience is acceptable. Must have experience with the following: energy conservation, combustion controls, and energy optimization. Stationary Steam Engineers license desirable, but not required. This position is accountable for the direction of maintenance and operations for the operation of air, water, wastewater, and steam producing facilities. Must be experienced in the production of air, water, and steam utilizing boilers, blowers, air compressors, turbines, water conditioning equipment, pumps reservoirs, chlorinators, chemical mixing plants and other related equipment. You will have to purchase new equipment and parts. And request and direct maintenance activities during equipment outages. A good candidate will be able to schedule work and equipment for assigned crews in accordance with skill, technical knowledge, operational needs and contractual agreements.
