Lead Service Technician / Engineer

For the expansion of our team in Oakland, NJ, we have an opening for a Lead Service Technician / Engineer with the following qualifications: (only candidates with proven experience need apply) 

Mechanical Engineering Degree, preferred but not required Plant experience in the chemical, cosmetic or pharmaceutical industries would be a plus Proven service experience for rotating equipmentMechanical working knowledge of rotating equipment is required Solid administration skills and follow-up At ease speaking with plant personnel A good listener

 

Your main duties will consist of:

Support coordination of shop and service activities/schedulesProvide rotating equipment evaluations, failure analysis, commissioning, start-up supervision, warranty claims and sales order administration Technical support for in-house sales and contract administration Expand our aftermarket business with new and existing customers in the chemical, cosmetic or pharmaceutical markets More than 20% travel in North America is required to existing and potential EKATO customers
