Job Requisition Number: Q07407The candidate will function as a senior software engineer developing Java EE solutions to be deployed via Service Oriented Architecture techniques to enable the dissemination of data and services via a portal platform. The purpose of these IT solutions is to provide all source intelligence and related services across various enterprise-wide classified networks. GOTs, COTs and custom IT solutions will be integrated and developed using well-structured, industry-standard methods as well as guidelines set forth by the Intelligence Community. Work will be done in a heterogeneous environment consisting of Windows, Unix and Linux platforms. The development process will involve peer code review, code management, documentation, testing and other well-defined development procedures.

Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in related field and 8+ years related experience of which at least two must be specialized.

Required Skills: Candidate must have 8 or more years of software engineering experience in full software life cycle development. Must have two years or more of directly related experience with Java/J2EE including; AJAX, SOAP, Java Struts, Spring and Hibernate, Javascript and other Java EE technologies. Database, web portal, content management, application servers, servlet container, LDAP and PKI experience is also necessary. These technologies include, but are not limited to Oracle Database/Portal, JBoss Application Server/Portal, Apache Tomcat, Documentum and SunOne Directory Server. . Requires proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team, good communication skills. Knowledge of CMM processes and procedures and experience working in a UNIX (SUN Solaris) and LINUX environment.

Desired Skills: Experience with Object Oriented Analysis and Design, including UML, Design Patterns and Rational Tools. Ability to develop applications utilizing the following JAVA and J2EE tools; junit, cactus, ant SP, Servlets, JNI, JAAS, JNDI, EJB, JTA, LMS, JDBC
