Primary Responsibilities: Improve service experience of customers, thereby enhancing loyalty and retention. Serve as escalated point of contact for resolution of service issues for United Healthcare’s brokers / employer groups. Ensure team meets all performance expectations as outlined in the current Dedicated Client Service Manager job description. Act as an escalated point of contact for Dedicated Client Service Managers on questions regarding issue resolution including routing to cross functional partners, resolution of complex items and communications to broker / customer. Communicate to team on CFT changes, updates, and other critical organizational changes that could impact service to brokers / customers. Meet with individual employees monthly to review metrics, performance and career goals. Provide feedback to manager on team and employee performance. Lead team in manager’s absence.
Qualifications: Healthcare insurance experience serving in a service role for at least 5 years. 3+years in a Leadership role. MS Office Word and Excel is required. Powerpoint and Access is a plus. Candidates must be organized and have a strong ability to resolve issues. Owns output at task level. Prior Account management experience is a plus. Work is generally limited to own function. Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion. Coordinates work activities with other supervisors. Develops plans to meet short-term objectives. Identifies and resolves operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgment. Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plan. Product, service or process decisions are most likely to impact individual employees and/or customers (internal or external). Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
