Our client is a privately held real estate developer and investor based in Cleveland, OH.  Their current portfolio exceeds 7,000 multi family units.  The company consistently adds one to two properties per year.  We are looking for a head of management and leasing to add structure and sophistication to the group.  This newly created role is an excellent opportunity for someone to add fresh ideas and create a department as they see fit in an already successful organization. 

Responsibilities:

The Senior Vice President, Property Management and Leasing will be responsible for overall operation of a multi-site portfolio of multi-family properties. He/she will oversee the property management, leasing, and operational personnel that are responsible for managing and for ultimately maximizing the value of the portfolio.

The Senior Vice President will review ongoing staffing needs toward increasing productivity and profitability.  They will increase productivity by goal setting and motivation while promoting personal growth and identifying individuals for potential advancement.  They will ensure that the same procedures are being followed across all properties and marketing and leasing is consistent throughout the portfolio.

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 to 10 years of progressive real estate experience including the management of a sizable multi family portfolio. Direct experience developing and building a successful, high quality property management team. Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service. Excellent leadership qualities, including supervision, training and staff development. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Use of various computer software applications related to general business practices.
