Description: To ensure a profitable book of business by appropriately pricing acceptable risks and rejecting those that are not acceptable within authority levels established. To market company products and services to the agents and participate in the agency manage
ment process. To provide technical support, training and problem solving support to other underwriters. Qualifications: EDUCATION: BA/BS degree or equivalent EXPERIENCE: 5 or more years of direct underwriting experience. In-depth knowledge of all commercial lines products. Expert in underwriting all commercial lines exposures for key lines of business. In-depth knowl
edge of regulatory and policy differences among states in which business is transacted. In-depth knowledge of systems used to process business. CPCU/AU designation preferred.
