Overview

Responsibilities
Purpose of the Position: The Senior Trainer partners closely with the WE Learning Team and internal clients/content experts to develop, design, implement and measure impact of global curricula and learning resources in support of functional and professional development. Accountabilities: Trusted Advisor:
• Develops and maintains strong and mutually trusting relationships with WE Learning clients (internal customers, including WE senior executives, account teams, support staff); serves as day-to-day contact on specific programs and initiatives
• Understands and applies client product and business knowledge to the development of value-added training courses
• Prioritizes customer satisfaction by keeping key stakeholders apprised of training progress; troubleshoots issues quickly and accurately; solicits feedback from customers and assesses training results against customer expectations
• Brainstorms new approaches with WE Learning leaders, recognizing when situations may call for non-traditional approaches or immediate training solutions
• Anticipates the needs of customers and proactively communicates strategic ideas and business recommendations Planning/curriculum development/implementation
• Designs, develops and drives the implementation of new classes and learning programs (associated responsibilities include partnerships with Senior Execs/content experts/program facilitators; marketing and promoting programs and classes; refreshing/revising existing curriculum to ensure current relevant and to meet customized client; developing supporting materials)
• Helps WE Learning Team leaders with the planning and development of new key curriculum and trainings, in alignment with identified agency priorities
• Helps drive evaluations, recaps and follow-up summaries to ensure programs are continuously improved
• Customizes and facilitates some core classes in partnership with and under guidance of WE Learning Team leads
• Delivers training through a variety of vehicles: traditional classroom presentations, 1:1 instruction; conference calls; video conference; etc. Considers non-traditional digital vehicles as well for training, such as podcasts; blogs; social media websites etc.
• Works closely with other WE Learning team members to ensure the smooth execution of logistics; assist in implementation when needed
• Proactively shares knowledge with the WE Learning Team in a timely manner,
• Monitors industry trends and best practices and works to incorporate them into current and future offerings. People Management
• This role may include people management, including performance management, coaching, performance reviews, etc.

Qualifications
Qualifications
• A degree in education or organizational development or minimum 5 years experience in education, training and development and/or organizational development. Experience in a professional services firm (example: within public relations) would be a plus.
• Demonstrated mastery of written and verbal communications, including outstanding stand-up presentation skills
• Ability to perform job functions and drive projects to completion in fast-paced, demanding and deadline-oriented environment
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and with minimal supervision
• Comfortable interacting with a range of staff, from senior execs to account teams to agency teams
• Must be able to travel 10% to 15% of time
• Must be able to effectively work with teams across various geographic locations and cultures (virtual team structures)
• Willingness to take risks, give and receive feedback and learn from experiences
• Open to continuous change and able to handle ambiguous situations
