A leading Fortune 500 company in Northern Delaware seeks a Senior Tax Manager of State Tax! This person will manage a team of state tax professionals in preparation and review of the state and local income and sales and use tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. This person will also participate in tax planning and research projects, manage and oversee audits of state and local tax returns, stay up to speed on state and local tax laws, and assist other managers and directors with the calculation of the state tax liability. This high visibility role will also take on special projects! There are excellent benefits, great corporate culture, and phenomenal growth potential! A BS degree, and 10+ years of strong tax experience with significant experience in state tax (either large corporation or public accounting firm) is required. Excellent written and verbal skills, the ability to multitask, and at once and to manage completion of compliance and tax audit deadlines, as well as assigned tax planning projects, to meet targeted completion dates is required. A CPA or MST is preferred!
