This Leading Commercial Mortgage Company, LLC provides debt and equity financing for multifamily, residential healthcare and commercial real estate. A national lender, Headquartered in Uniondale, New York, and has additional offices across the country is Looking for a Senior Tax Accountant

Other division handling Realty Trust, Inc. was formed to invest in real estate related bridge and mezzanine loans, preferred equity investments, joint ventures, note acquisitions and other real estate related assets. Trust, Inc. and its managing company, Commercial Mortgage, LLC have extensive experience in mortgage origination, servicing and securitization.

My Client has built a reputation as a proven performer within the mortgage banking industry by providing conventional lending resources through Fannie Mae, FHA and CMBS programs. They also combine traditional mortgage lending practices with innovative investment strategies to offer structured banking services of mezzanine and bridge debt, participations and note acquisitions.

Job Description:

Uniondale, Long Island office has an immediate opening for a Senior Tax Accountant to work with both our private company, Commercial Mortgage, LLC and our public company, Realty Trust, Inc. The responsibilities will include federal and various state tax reporting for both corporations and partnerships, tax analysis/projections for our various entities as well as real estate investment trust (REIT) tax compliance.

Candidate must have Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance, and at least 4-5 years experience in either a public or private firm.

Qualified candidates must have experience with partnership taxation, tax analysis, tax projections/forecasting as well as state level compliance. Real Estate, FAS 109 and 10Q experience/knowledge is a plus but not required. Proficiency in MS Word and Excel is a must, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ideal candidate will be hard working, a quick learner, extremely detail oriented, well organized and have the ability to work alone as well as with others to reach a common goal.
