About the Position:
We are searching for an exceptional Senior Tax Accountant to join our team of professionals. The Senior Tax Accountant must have strong technical experience with individual, pass-through entity and corporate tax work. The ideal individual must have 3-5 recent years experience in public accounting, preferably in a large local/regional or Big 4 firm. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field and a CPA license preferred.

The Tax Senior will be responsible for the following:
· Identify tax issues and provide tax planning and expertise to diverse middle-market client base
· Use tax skills to effectively prepare, plan, research and review tax engagements
· Work with other staff and managers to research and resolve complex tax issues
· Effectively manage competing priorities and projects while exceeding client expectations
· Manage and communicate effectively with clients and supervise staff on tax engagements
· Assist management with analyzing transactions
· Prepare or review tax returns and tax consulting projects to satisfy the client's business and tax objectives
· Assist with engagement budgeting, billing, and scheduling
· Help develop and motivate engagement staff by providing mentorship, leadership, counseling, and career guidance
· Possess the ability and desire to build existing client relationships and to develop and utilize a personal network to obtain new client opportunities
· Provide client service and leadership timely and efficiently to fulfill and exceed the expectations of our clients and our employees

We are also seeking a Tax Manager to join our team. A successful candidate will have significant technical experience with closely-held businesses and their owners. We are looking for someone who enjoys being involved in a variety of levels on each of the engagements with both staff and clients. Real estate industry experience or substantial estate, gift and trust skills are a plus. The ideal individual must have 5-8 recent years experience in public accounting, preferably in a large local/regional or Big 4 firm. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field and a CPA license are required.

The Tax Manager will be responsible for the following:
· Identify complex tax issues and provide tax planning and expertise to diverse middle-market client base
· Use developed skills in tax consulting process to effectively diagnose, develop and implement solutions for client problems
· Lead the research and resolution of complex tax issues with seniors and staff
· Effectively manage competing priorities and projects while exceeding client expectations
· Manage and communicate effectively with clients
· Analyze transactions, formulate tax-planning strategies & perform tax reviews to satisfy the client's business and tax objectives
· Building the engagement budget, billing, and scheduling
· Developing and motivating engagement staff by providing mentorship, lead
