Recognized nationally for excellence in patient care, this hospital is currently seeking a
Senior Storage Administrator

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring 24 x 7 x 365 availability of the centrally managed Storage Infrastructure. Responsibilities of this position include the administration and monitoring of the current installed EMC SAN-NAS and Central Backup Infrastructure. This role will additionally be responsible for planning, allocating storage, architecting storage layouts, planning connectivity, performance tuning, backup management with physical and virtual tape systems and disaster recovery testing within the IS department. Working with other IT group team members to deploy storage solutions which meet business objectives, adhere to service level agreements and provide off-hour support to address hardware and software upgrades, or performance issues.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Sciences, or related technical field. Technical degree in associated area or equivalent experience required.

5 years experience supporting enterprise Storage Area Networks (SAN), Network Attached Storage (NAS) and Tape Backup/Restore technology in a mission critical environment.

7-10 years of scalable IT Experience including managing teams responsible for infrastructure / operations support in multiplatform environments.

Industry certification preferred, i.e. EMC Proven Professional Certification Program.

Knowledge of Windows and UNIX operating systems.
