As a member of our Engineering Team this Senior Software Engineer will, with their technical and professional background, assist in the development, testing and release of embedded software solutions for our aerospace and industrial customers. Using their experience in C/C++, software testing, hardware/software integration and digital signal processing this engineer will write embedded software for the C2000 family of processors. Additionally, this Software Engineer will work within the entire VMI organization, utilizing their knowledge of avionic systems to participate in the planning, scheduling and coordination of cross-functional design teams and program status reporting.

The successful candidate will be an experience Software Engineer with detailed knowledge of and experience in software certification to DO-178B, "Software Considerations in Airborne Systems and Equipment Certification". Specific experience in creating the software certification documentation to DO-178B is preferred. Experience in software testing in embedded systems a plus.
