We have an excellent opportunity available for a Senior Security Engineer with Xacta Corporation. The successful candidate will provide network security and monitoring expertise to the enterprise. This position will be based in Seaside, CA.

Responsibilities: support IA policy with technical solutions; manage security incident response; participate in red team and blue team testing; assisting with secure wireless implementation; configure and deploy enterprise tools for security monitoring, including network defense, network response and forensic analysis; perform security operations oversight; support certification and accreditation audits; oversee remediation efforts; conduct research and testing of security products.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree preferred with 5 years computer security experience; CISSP preferred; Must have experience with network security tools- Nessus, Retina, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, DoD IA policy knowledge; Must have active Secret clearance; Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation, must be U.S. Citizen and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
