Our IT Shared Services group has an immediate opportunity for a Senior SAP Basis Engineer. This individual will complete the activities and services required to maintain and build the SAP systems. The SAP Basis team performs all SAP Basis activities for the SAP systems supporting West. This individual will complete both operational support for the production SAP systems and implementation support for the SAP Competency Center.

Responsibilities:

Complete operational support activities.

Develop and document procedures for operating and supporting SAP systems.

Participate in “on-call” support for SAP and other related IT systems.

Serve as the technical SAP Basis and Oracle team member for implementation and operational support of all components of the mySAP Business Suite used by West.

Create and maintain system support documentation.

Identify problem trends and implement corrective actions.

Participate in collecting data for reporting on SAP systems performance and capacity.

Participate on project teams.

Manage SAP in West’s FDA regulated and Sarbanes-Oxley controlled environment.

Basic Qualifications:

BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or Business is required. Strong technical skills in the implementation and support of SAP in a Windows/Oracle environment. One to two full-lifecycle implementations of SAP preferred. Experience deploying SAP and Oracle in an FDA regulated environment. Experience supporting SAP and Oracle in a productive environment. Experience with VMWare a plus.
