THE ROLE: Reporting to the Director of Research and Development, the Senior Research and Development Chemist will be responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and improving upon synthetic organic chemical formulations relative to the pharmaceutical environment. The major components of this opportunity are: Quality assurance Material assessment and vendor management Government regulatory adherence Excellent communication skills Superior project management skills GMP Innovative chemical formulation

CANDIDATE PROFILE
TO FIT THE ROLES: In order to be considered a strong fit for this role you will have: A strong understanding of the synthetic organic chemistry in pharmaceuticals Creative drive and understanding of how chemicals interact with each other and their surroundings 3-10+ years experience working as a laboratory chemist in a research and development capacity A Bachelor's Degree in a Chemistry as a minimum, preference will be given to those with a Master's degree or a PHD in chemistry and recent graduates in these areas are welcome provided that the lab experience is also presentAbility to communicate on many levels with sales, operations, vendors and clientsExceptional drive and enthusiasm for being a technical resource The desire to be thought of as a creative genius



Candidates with experience and degrees from other countries are welcome to apply, but must relocate and live in the Edmonton area long term. COMPENSATION: We offer a generous compensation plan consisting of a great base salary,bonus program, benefits, share options, relocation, pension and more... Target Income: 90-110K++
