We are currently looking for a qualified Senior Project Manager to join our Business Unit Operations team at our worldwide headquarters in Islandia, NY.

This position is responsible for the coordination and monitoring of complex mainframe technical projects from initiation through delivery. The Senior Project Manager will serve as liaison between technical and non-technical departments in order to ensure that all targets and requirements are met. They will also ensure that mainframe technical projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and maintain project plans
* Coordinate the activities of all assigned personnel
* Develop status reports and facilitate status meetings with users and management
* Ensure completeness and quality of all project deliverables
* Manage Change Control process through the life of project
* Manage the project Risk Mitigation process
* Define complex project plans including timeframe and staff need
* Keep overall project costs within budget, and meeting the committed deliverables of assigned

Key Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
* 7+ years project management experience within the mainframe environment
* Strong customer management/interaction experience required
* Systems Programming experience is desired
