Security Project Manager:

A large client in Chicago area is experiencing security concerns around three areas:

1)Database Encryption

2)Information Leak Management

3)Development Security (securing their development area)

They would like a PM to assist in providing solutions and best practices in the area of security and work with the team to provide the correct solution. The PM will take part in all of the meetings surrounding the topic and will take charge in sourcing internal resources to work on the projects. Resources will be matrix managed so will need to follow up with resources and do project scheduling/planning and see to it that the work gets accomplished. Must be comfortable working with PM tools (not just MS Office but have some experience with a PM tool like Primavera)

Will engage Infrastructure leads and work with them to provide security solutions. Must have perfect communication skills, solid Security experience/knowledge, and be very proactive. Would like the PM to have a solid technology understanding and have some knowledge of TIM/TAM (Tivoli) type environments. Need someone with a technical background or else they will get walked all over. This position will run through the end of the year.
