We are seeking a Senior Project Manager Rail / Transit experience.

 Senior Project Manager in our northern, California office. 12+ years relevant experience in managing the delivery of multi-discipline rail/transit projects, California Professional Engineer License (PE), and Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required. Experience in design or management of capital improvements for Class I railroads and intermodal facilities a plus. The successful candidate plans, schedules, conducts, and supervises/leads the most technically competent staff within a discipline in the design on high revenue, high complexity rail transit projects. Usually involves continuous client contact from the proposal stage to project completion. Provides overall project direction to the project team(s) while providing information about the status of the project to others in the firm. Accountable for the development, coordination, and execution of design activities, including project budgets, schedules, and resources. Plans and conducts work requiring a significant level of judgment in the independent evaluation of requirements for complex light rail transit, commuter rail, high-speed rail, or freight rail capital programs. Applies knowledge of rail operations and design criteria to devise new approaches to problems encountered. Ensures interface of project elements with other systems for overall reliability and safety of built facility. Initiates or escalates the correction of any conditions which may adversely affect the completion of the project on schedule and within budget.
