Our client-company, located in the St. Louis, MO area, is currently seeking talented, highly-motivated individuals for the full-time permanent position described below.

The Senior Project Engineer will be:

Responsible for capital improvement projects and regulatory compliance of critical plant utility systems such as WFI, clean steam, Nitrogen, etc. including overall project management from inception through validation startupResponsible for updating the utility P&ID drawings and SOP’s and performing as the SME during inspections

Qualifications:

In addition to the responsibilities stated above, the position requires the following skills and experience:

· Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering degree preferred

· 5 to 8 years experience pharmaceutical plant engineering or related experience

· Knowledge of pharmaceutical utility equipment and validation is highly desirable

· Must be highly motivated, have working knowledge of cGMP’s, and have good oral and written communication skills

· PE in Missouri or ability to obtain is desirable

· Knowledge of clean room HVAC design and ability to troubleshoot and direct corrective actions and repairs associated with HVAC

· Knowledge of pharmaceutical grade compressed air and nitrogen systems is desirable

· Knowledge of validation requirements and experience writing/executing validation protocols for utility systems is desirable

· Experience working with maintenance departments and mechanical/electrical contractors

· Experience with chilled water systems and cooling towers

· Able to manage other engineers and plant personnel in a team environment

· Able to work with minimal supervision, a self-starter, and detail-oriented

· Able to contribute in design reviews and improve job efficiencies
