TolTest’s Federal Services Group, based in Maumee, OH, with an office in San Antonio, has an immediate opening for two Senior Project Controls Lead persons. Project Controls include the budget, the sequence of activities and estimates of the time and expenses required to complete the various aspects of the project. The Project Controls Lead will be managing the daily issues of all aspects of project controls for assigned projects and involved with the coordination of new projects support, weekly/monthly reporting, and close-out of existing projects.
The position is responsible for the strict coordination with project managers to establish WBS and budget, maintaining the Project Schedule, reviewing project costs to date, tracking vendor and subcontractor budgets, providing misc. cost reporting to the government, as required, providing overall invoicing /project support, and internal cost reporting and forecasting of assigned projects.
Other duties will include, but not be limited to: assisting the project manager in preparation of Estimate to Complete (EAC) and forecasting, reviewing project status sheets and resolving questions with the project manager, coordinating with the financial accounting to prepare client invoices, financial analysis, and assisting in the preparation of estimates and proposals. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years experience in project controls areas including cost tracking and schedule preparation and maintenance. Experience and understanding of government project reporting requirements would be beneficial.
General Requirements:
· 10-15 years of experience in the engineering, construction, or environmental field
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Earth Science, Construction Management, or related field
· Cost control and subcontracting knowledge and experience
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Computer skills including Microsoft Office, Primavera and/or Microsoft Project
