One of the 100 largest law firms in the United States is looking to hire a Senior Programmer. This candidate will be working independently while being a part of a large technical team of professionals.

Position Description:

Our very prestigious client located in the Philadelphia area is seeking to hire someone who is: Ready to take on a challenge by being part of a dynamic team. Interested in growth and opportunity.

This Senior Level Programmer will be responsible for Programming duties, including: Assisting in SharePoint design and development. Creating and updating applications (i.e. Web, SharePoint, and Desktop applications) for all departments to help in Data Management and Dissemination. Assisting in conceptualizing and developing new software programs and applications for various departments in the firm. Performing the following tasks with Web Applications while using appropriate editors: Developing Coding Installing Testing Debugging Documenting Conducting research on emerging Application Development software products, languages, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts. Diagnosing and troubleshooting problems with existing Web Applications and sites. Developing and maintaining user manuals and guidelines.

Requirements:

Required Skills for this Senior Programmer position include the following: 10+ years of experience as Senior Programmer BS Degree in Information Systems; Masters preferred Skills and Technology: Expert level SharePoint SharePoint Designer .NET Visual Basic Visual Basic Scripting JavaScript XML, HTML SQL Server All Microsoft Applications Proficiency in MS Access Visual Studio 2005 IIS, Client Server Technology, SQL, ADO Ability to understand new languages and technology is critical.
