Position Description:
The Senior Program Manager will oversee sites in Delaware and the Eastern part of Maryland. Sr. Program Managers are responsible for the efficient and profitable management of rehabilitation services in his/her assigned accounts. The Program Manager II assists in monitoring the standards of clinical services being delivered in his/her assigned accounts. The scope of responsibility of the Program Manager II is greater than that of the Program Manager, both in size and responsibility. The Program Manager II will oversee at least 3 accounts with annual revenue in excess of $500,000. RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES: • Assumes responsibility for the efficient and profitable management of rehabilitation services in assigned accounts. • Supervises Genesis Rehabilitation Services personnel and consultants providing service within assigned accounts. • Assumes responsibility for annual merit evaluation of therapy staff. • Assumes responsibility for hiring/terminating therapy staff (with approval from Area Director). • Assumes responsibility for daily staffing and utilization. • Administers financial controls of revenue and expenses. • Assumes responsibility for facility reports on a weekly and monthly basis. • Assists Area Director in annual budget preparation. • Assumes responsibility for meeting annual budget goals as set by Area Director. • Ensures the highest standard of rehabilitation services is consistently provided. • Promotes all Genesis Health Services Network products and services whenever possible. • Assists Area Director in identifying and securing new contracts. • Provides orientation and mentoring to new Program Managers. • Assists Area Director in managing key customer relationships. • Provides assistance and support to other Program Managers as directed by Area Director. • Performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
The Program Manager II position requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a rehabilitation discipline or related discipline. Additionally, the Program Manager II must have three years direct patient care experience and two years of management experience.
