Position Description:

The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for defining market requirements, packaging the features into product releases, providing product line support for program strategy and managing key OEM accounts. The position involves close interaction with engineering leads, product architects, marketing communications, global sales team and key OEM customers. Job duties include: • Drives product definition and prioritizes product feature base on market research and key customer feedback • Creates MRD/PRDs for SAS/SATA RAID controllers, HBA and expanders • Drives a cross-functional team to launch SAS RAID ASICs and HBAs on time with the desired feature sets • Creation of sales tools including product brochures, product brief, competitive analysis, white papers, and web presentations • Conducts sales and FAE training and drives key OEM design wins • Hosts key OEM account weekly calls and attends trade show

Qualifications:

Requirements: • 5+ years of product management experience with at least 3 years RAID controller or related storage subsystem experience • BS/EE or CS is required. An MBA or person with relevant experience is preferred • Proven ability to bring complete solutions to market for ROMB, add-on card or storage sub-system • Significant experience driving cross-functional teams (especially engineering development) • Knowledge of key storage technologies and architectures i.e., SAS / FC protocols and HBA / DAS / SAN • Strong written and verbal communication skills along with insightful structured analytical thinking skills • Indomitable work ethic; proven record of rejecting setbacks and enthusiastic persistence to reach ambitious goals
