The Senior Private Banking manager will work in conjunction with the Assistant Vice President to ensure smooth running of the department while modeling outstanding sales and service behaviors for the staff. The Senior Private Banking manager supports the Assistant Vice President in motivating Private Banking staff in reaching department sales goals and maintaining high service levels.
The incumbent is also responsible for retention of an assigned group of credit union private clients/affluent members. The Senior Private Banking manager will act as liaison between the affluent member and the Credit Union regarding products and services, as well as, promote and sell Technology CU products and services. The incumbent will provide the member with financial solutions and options based on a comprehensive wealth management model to assess the member needs.
The incumbent will use patience, persuasion, and creativity, to confidently address escalated member issues. Additionally the incumbent will exercise a flexible work-style to accommodate on-the-spot challenges or changes to departments needs.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
BS/BA Degree in Business or Finance or equivalent experience in a financial institution.
NASD Series 6 and 63 licenses required, Notary Public preferred. Real Estate License desired.
4+ years experience in sales management at a financial institution and have a proven record of providing quality service. 4+ years knowledge of new accounts, consumer lending, mortgages, and investments in a credit union or other financial institution environment.
Must show proven ability to manage an effective sales team with a high quality service focus. Excellent oral/written communications and presentation skills. Demonstrates high level of professionalism, initiative, self-motivation and competitive drive to reach goals. Solid computer skills including M/S Word, Excel and e-mail. Valid California Drivers License.
