Duties & Responsibilities: 

Lead and direct an Operations Team in the bank coordinating operational activities of specific functional areas Ensure quality service and effective operational support for internal and external customers.  Accomplish results through the effective management of non-exempt and exempt level professionalsAdminister corporate policies and procedures and ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulationsCoordinate departmental activities with interrelated activities of other departments for optimum efficiencyLead the review of operational procedures and systems, coordinating process improvements, systems conversions, and change management from an operations perspectiveParticipate with senior management in long term planning of operational functions in support of corporate strategy and objectivesLead operations team through change in support of corporate strategy

Required Skills:  

Bachelors degree in Finance or Operations; Master’s degree preferredThorough knowledge of bank operation functions, systems, policies and procedures Strong managerial and organizational skillsExcellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneouslyPersonal computer skills & software knowledgeThorough knowledge of human resource management responsibilities

Experience: 

The candidate should have a minimum 8-10 years management experience in Wire Transfer, Capital Markets, and Foreign Exchange Operations. Loan and Deposit Operations experience is a plusExperience with middle market commercial clientsCandidate should be a self-starter with strong financial and interpersonal skills, experience with financial market products, good attention to detail, and skilled at adapting to new technical applicationsExperience working with third party service providers for core and auxiliary system software/technical support
