For more information about Kroll Ontrack and our offerings please visit: http:www.krollontrack.com and www.kroll.com.   Description As Sr. Network Administrator, you will configure and maintain network systems and technologies to ensure maximum availability of the WAN/LAN infrastructure.  We are currently implementing an MPLS network for Kroll, Inc. globally, and this position will play an integral part in this implementation.  You will perform router, firewall, and switch configuration and maintenance, and implement network security practices as directed by management and the Information Security Department.  As a Sr. Network Administrator, you will play an integral role in the design and support of the worldwide network infrastructure.  Kroll Ontrack is a 24x7 production environment which includes an on-call rotation.   Responsibilities will include Design, administration, and maintenance of network technologies to meet or exceed 99.9% network availability.  Perform router, firewall, and switch configuration and maintenance. Implement and maintain network security patches, enforcing approved network best practices. Monitor networks to achieve performance optimization. Resolve problems in an effective and timely manner to maintain Service Level Agreements.  Work with customers and support partners as needed. Participate in multiple projects, demonstrating time management and prioritization skills to accommodate dynamic business requirements. Cisco Certified – CCNA, CCNP, etc. Proven network administration and support skills.  Fluent understanding of large network implementations, network protocols, and network topologies. Strong understanding of MPLS technology, QOS, and routing protocols. Five plus years experience supporting a 24x7 production environment.  High level understanding of network technologies and data center management.   Track record of experience with Cisco Routers and Switches IPSEC VPNs, and  BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF routing protocols.  Working knowledge of PIX Firewalls is a plus. Understanding of Problem Management and Incident Management Problems and Procedures.  Exposure to ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a business emergency situation. Effective communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal) with a customer focus.
