This role has overall responsibility for maintaining and supporting all existing technology utilized by these departments including but not limited to the JDA/Manugistics, SAP and PCR applications. In addition, the Senior Manager will serve as IT project manager for the Supply Chain Execution project. This includes managing all IT activity related to the implementation of the JDA/Manugistics solutions, integration to SAP and other related applications as well as reporting (Cognos). Additional responsibilities include managing all IT resources (internal and external) allocated to the project as well as associated budget.
The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Information Systems to… Provide process and technology leadership to the Planning and Logistics, Production and Sourcing Admin. Departments within Coach. Partner with business leaders to seek optimization of current planning processes and systems to support objectives of Coach. Manage the delivery of functional and technical support to applications supporting processes such as DRP (Distribution Requirements Planning), Production Scheduling, Capacity Planning, Execution, Forecast Changes and Reporting. Lead the implementation and oversee development of new systems in accordance with business objectives through project lifecycle. Manage vendors/consultants as appropriate. Effectively communicate with senior business leadership, end users and IS management issues, status and resolution. Manage internal resources directly and indirectly as required. The accomplished individual will possess… Strong project management skills. PMI certification a plus. Strong communication and team building skills including experience in partnering with business users and other IS team members to design and implement systems. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Demonstrated leadership and strong interpersonal skills.
An outstanding professional will have… Bachelor’s degree in IT, Logistics/Operations or a related field. MBA is a plus. Strong experience with Supply Chain Management processes and systems implementation is required. Extensive experience with advance planning and scheduling systems such as JDA/Manugistics, Logility, or i2. 7 -10 years demand / production planning and / or supply chain management in a manufacturing or sourced environment. 5-7 years experience with ERP systems, preferably with SAP.
