Senior Manager Financial Advisor Consultant

The Plan Administrator Services (PAS) Implementation & Conversion Group's objective is to provide our Third Party Administrators (TPA) with the highest quality of service when establishing business at Schwab and converting new retirement plans to our platform.  Professional interactions and timely response to internal and external client needs is paramount to our success.   Relationship building is also important to ensure that we retain business as well as be the preferred choice for new business. 

 

Responsibilities

 

The PAS Financial Advisor Consultant will:

Develop and manage strong relationships with retirement focused financial advisors Identify, develop, and channel new business opportunities from financial advisors Cross sell opportunities with Schwab Retail, Schwab Retirement technologies, Schwab Institutional, and Schwab Retirement Plan Services Coordinate sales activities with regional Sales and Relationship Management team members Be known as industry and market subject matter experts Has relevant business knowledge and be able to communicate PAS products and services Travel up to 40% annually

 

Requirements

Bachelor's degree 4+ years successful B2B sales/business development experience Retirement plan consulting and/or distribution experience strongly preferred Thorough knowledge of financial advisor business, 401k industry and TPA market Superior presentation skills and demonstrated success in a team-selling environment Demonstrated exceptional prospecting skills to targeted clients Excellent communication, listening, interpersonal, client service, networking and analytical skills Effective interpersonal, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills Strong business/customer focus; ability to think in terms of customer experience/perspective.
