Position: Manager, Compensation & Benefits

Location: San Francisco, CA

 

The Manager, Compensation and Benefits will be responsible for research, overall design, implementation and administration of the organization’s total compensation and benefits programs in support of the Company goals and competitive practices. The incumbent must be proficient in interpreting and applying HR regulations and practices, and posses an in-depth working knowledge in the areas of incentive compensation, tax, labor laws, benefits, security, and cultural issues. The person in this role will assure thorough audits, reports and administration that our compensation programs are consistently administered and in compliance with company policies and government regulations. 

  

Responsibilities:

 

Manage administration of global benefits programs and total compensation including base pay, variable pay, and employee stock options. Experience with the design, development, administration, and compliance of global executive compensation and stock programs. Develop executive compensation materials and related processes for the CEO. Partner with Operations, Finance and IT to ensure compensation and benefits processes are automated and integrated into the new HRIS. Monitor the effectiveness and manage benefits programs, compensation policies, guidelines and procedures, worldwide. Recommend plan revisions and new plans which are cost effective and consistent with compensation trends, our competitive position and overall corporate objectives. Analyze results of surveys and develop specific recommendations for review by management. Keeps apprised of federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations in order to ensure compliance (SEC, SOX, etc.). Qualifications:  

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Human Resources or related field. 6+ years experience in  total compensation plan development and administration, creative incentive and executive compensation. Knowledge of government regulations as they apply to benefits, base pay and incentive compensation programs; company policies and operations in the countries where MarketTools does business. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with all levels of management and individual contributors. Superior internal client service skills with highly reliable follow through on inquiries. Ability to work collaboratively with teams throughout the organization.

·         Exposure to/experience in a high growth environment a decided plus, especially in the technology or professional services industry

·         Ability to effectively function in fast-paced business with along with capability of fluidly working with quick changing priority

Employment Status: Regular Full-Time

Minimum Experience Required: 6 years
