An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Developer with significant commercial experience with Java experience to work within a prestigious and hugely profitable Hedge Fund based in New York. This Hedge Fund has a fresh and innovative approach and is currently experiencing a record period of growth which has created the opportunity for a seasoned developer to play a lead role in the development of credit derivatives trading systems. This role could offer a huge challenge to most candidates as you will constantly be required to provide solutions to a very successful team of traders. You will be involved in an exciting new project which will see the development of an analytical toolkit to be used for pricing, hedging and the calculation of risk on structured trades. You must have an excellent grasp of OO development using Java (a proficiency of C++ an advantage). C# .Net experience also extremely advantageous. Experience of one or more relational databases would also be looked at favourably. The right candidate for this role will have a good working knowledge of Derivatives products, will have spent some time in a front office role and will be used to working with a demanding trading desk.
