A large Telecom Company in Dallas seeks a Senior Inventory Accountant to join their team

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance 3 years accounting experience Inventory accounting experience required Experience with and knowledge of SQL Server

 

Job Desciption:

Prepare monthly journal entries to record inventory purchase receipts and transfers Prepare monthly and quarterly variance analyses and fluctuation analyses, as well as reasonableness tests, as required, to ensure that account balances are accurately maintained Maintain average unit cost schedules for inventory items Prepare monthly trend analyses for various inventory related activities for management reporting Work with the markets to resolve any inventory discrepancies and questions they may have related to the recording of inventory transactions
