A Service Based Company located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is looking for a Senior Internal Controls Specialist who will be responsible for:

- Manage the corporate Sarbanes-Oxley process

- Perform quarterly reviews to ensure that internal controls continue to operate effectively and overseeing the quarterly section 302 sub-certification processes

- Interaction with various groups within the company as well as both the internal and external auditors

- Perform quarterly and annual reviews of process documentation and controls to ensure continued compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements

- Update and maintain the corporate SOX documentation, including narratives, flowcharts and guidelines

- Provide guidance and assistance to business process owners regarding the design of controls for new processes, applications and programs

- Review control deficiencies and assist business process owners in the development of remediation plans

- Manage the quarterly section 302 sub-certification process

- Work with the software vendor and IT to improve the electronic certification process

- Act as a liaison with internal and external auditors with respect to Sarbanes-Oxley walk through and test procedures

- Provide assistance regarding the quarterly close procedures, which may include preparing account roll forwards and reconciliations as well as reviewing management reports

Qualified candidates for this position will possess:

- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting a plus; CPA a plus

- 2+ years experience

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
