Senior Interface Developer
Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for a Senior Interface Developer for a permanent opportunity in the Milwaukee, WI area.
The Sr. Interface Developer will work on multiple projects using Microsoft technologies as well as Flash Rich Internet Application, (RIA), other flash platform based applications, web pages, templates, and emails. You will work closely with a project team to ensure the successful development of Web and Windows-based projects. You will be required to develop web sites and Windows applications which adhere to internal development standards and practices, while also being given the opportunity to create software designs for the projects you are assigned.
General Responsibilities:
- Conceptualizing and developing projects: including helping with ideation, determining appropriate technology usage, creating frameworks, helping to set standards, and programming projects.
- Mentoring, coaching, and overseeing work of entry-mid level Developers (as needed)
- Managing technical tasks and timelines for front-end development (as needed)
- Programming web pages and templates
- Programming e-mail templates and creating e-mails
- Providing budget information (estimated hours to complete projects_ regarding front-end development
- Implementing creative test plans and design optimizations
- Ensuring good, effective communication between the front-end team and
other team members from different disciplines.
Required Skills / Experience:
- 3 or more years with HTML/XHTML, CSS, Javascript, XML, Zinc, and Web forms
- 3 or more years experience with Flash
- 3 or more years experience using Adobe’s Macromedia Flash 8, Actionscript 1.0 & 2.0; Flash 9 / Flex and Actionscript 3.0 preferred
- Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming
- Knowledge of Flash video development
- Working knowledge of design patterns
- 2 or more years experience of software development (internet/web programming, Windows applications, and database application development) using Microsoft technologies is preferred.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, and ASP.NET
- Familiarity with Nunit, FxCop, Nant and Ndoc
- Familiarity with Test-Driven Development
- Familiarity with Fireworks, Photoshop, Illustrator and other standard graphic software tools services and other server-side technologies is a plus
- Well-developed communication and organizational skills
- Desire and ability to thrive in a high-pressure, client-service environment while working on multiple projects simultaneously
- Must be a team player and able to work with other interactive team members and to exceed client expectations
- B.S. in Computer Science or related field/ or equivalent experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work well with other departments and varying levels of management
- Supervisory experience a plus
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented
- Self-sufficient problem solver
- Interactive agency experience a plus
