Join us today for an inspired and purposeful mix of professional growth opportunities and personal rewards. **This position can be worked from any UHG office in either North or South Carolina** Job Description: Responsible for the implementation of products and services to new and existing clients, and the management of key projects designed to expand and enhance the role of Implementation. Primary Responsibilities:Manage all aspects of a client implementation, interfacing with the appropriate internal departments and external clients and vendorsAssist Sales and Client Services on prospective customer calls, serving as a subject matter expertLiaison between Products and Implementation departments to assist in the introduction and pilot of new product offeringsCreate and manage project plans completing complex and/or long-term projects within budgetary and scheduling guidelines, satisfying the identified business need and purposeForm team; direct team to complete projects on time; resolve team and project conflictsPractice effective decision-making Maintain detailed project plans enabling others to track the progress of a project or implementationAssess progress and reports status to management and key stakeholders including progress, timelines and milestones; provides timely written and/or verbal communication regarding project statusAble to effectively share information and transfer knowledge to coworkers, team members, and stakeholders Qualifications:Implementation Responsibilities Completely understands process of implementing product and service offerings Works effectively with other departments, client and vendor(s) to ensure implementation is completed accurately and on timeIntegrate the implementation needs from an operations and business standpoint  Anticipate, understand, and strive to meet client needs Able to manage multiple projects tasks and timelines Develop standardized and efficient processes to deliver approved customization options Operationalize approved product enhancementsProject Management Responsibilities Ability to scope out a project plan with realistic timeframes and appropriate resource requirements Excellent problem-solving skills including being able to identify root causes and propose appropriate alternatives Effectively influence people critical to the project plan to take action through personal credibility and persuasive arguments Demonstrated organizational skills as shown by clearly defined project plans, regular and timely updates, consistent communications to all project stakeholders, and a comprehensive quality control check to ensure the relevancy, completeness and accuracy of work Ability to work independently and creativelyChange Agent Act as a change agent by seeking ways to improve processes and demonstrating creativity Flexible and able to adapt quickly to changing business strategies and change in focus Generate excitement about change and gain the respect of others through credibility and visionCommunication Skills Clear, articulate, and consistent written and oral communication with all customers Initiate timely and appropriate communication with others Listen well and ask questions to gain information or clarify understanding Invite others to share their ideas and perspectives and is respectful of differing viewpoints Seek out and works directly with subject matter experts as needed Excellent oral and written communication as well as interpersonal skills; must develop strong relationships with internal customers Dedication to customer focused and outcome based serviceBachelors degree in Business, Project Management, or Healthcare related field 3+ years experience in client implementations 3+ years project management experience 2+ years supervisory or team lead experience with ability to mentor and coach project team members An understanding of healthcare concepts and healthcare markets Diversity creates a healthier atmosphere: equal opportunity employer M/F/D/V UnitedHealth Group is a drug-free workplace.  Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment.
