In addition, we are a member of the prestigious NASDAQ Financial - 100 Index. We are seeking a professional to join our marketing team as a Senior Graphic Designer in our Bethesda, MD headquarters.

A key member of the CoStar product and marketing team, this position is responsible for concepting, designing and developing online and offline business to business marketing collateral, as well as well as supporting professional business product design needs for the company. Candidate should be proactive and possess an energy level that is consistent with an organization that requires and rewards: creativity, careful attention to detail and productivity.

 

Essential Functions
- Designing print communications materials, including brochures, direct mail, presentations, trade show booth designs and other forms of marketing & sales collateral
- Designing, developing and producing web collateral, including promotional websites, banner advertisements, email marketing and product tours
- Supporting needs of product development group by designing elements of CoStar's current suite of online products, as well as designing concepts for new products in production
- Working closely with other members of marketing organization to develop brand standards for the company, and identifying new opportunities to enhance the CoStar brand across all mediums
- Working closely with CoStar's Senior Web Producer to support the roll-out of CoStar's new public website, and providing basic web development support within a content management platform
- Overall, joining a marketing and product development organization that is responsible for working on multiple projects concurrently and relies heavily on teamwork

 Web
- Experience working in: Fireworks, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash
- Ability to modify, maintain and develop in: HTML, CSS, Javascript
- Knowledge of and understanding of the following: Web standards, cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions, Online and interactive advertising, Animation, Video
- Knowledge of the following languages is a plus: ASP/.NET, SQL, XML, Actionscript 2.0+
- Understanding of online information architecture standards
- Understanding of, and experience with email design standards

 

Print
- Deep experience working in: Quark Xpress, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Strong typography, layout, illustration and graphic design skills
- Previous art direction experience and a high taste level & aesthetic standards
- Experience designing both mail pieces and sales collateral

 

Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree required
- Required: Provide a portfolio with all submitted resumes
