Due to continued growth and expansion, an excellent opportunity exists in Perrysburg, Ohio for an experienced Senior Glass Surface Engineer to design and develop glass formulations and compounds for consumer applications as well as provide project management and technology transfer expertise.

As Senior Glass Surface Engineer, you will:

·        Drive and direct project management to facilitate new processes for new product innovation

·        Interface with cross functional teams, external sources and 3rd party resources to resolve project issues

·        Work with technology experts to define, create and execute project plans; provide daily project management

·        Create bottle samples, coordinate lab testing and conduct analysis

·        Document results, conclusions and recommendations

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Material Science

·        7 – 10 years related experience; direct plant experience or experience in a plant support role required

·        Experience in packaging engineering or industrialization of processes a plus

·        Good written and verbal communications skills

·        Proficient in Microsoft Office
