Position Summary:

The PrivateBank is a fast growing Chicago commercial bank seeking a dynamic senior interest rate derivatives/foreign exchange operations specialist to support its expanding Capital Markets business.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities (Cannot be assigned to another individual):

Establish standards and practicesService commercial clients, relationship managers, bank counterparts, and front-office derivatives personnel Drive the day-to-day operations activities of Capital Markets Operations Provide client support including confirmations, rate resets, mark-to-market of positions, investigations, securing documentation and settling of interest rate derivatives and foreign exchange transactions

Required Skills (including PC software):

Bachelor degree in Finance or Operations preferred.

 

Experience:

Minimum 5 years experience in interest rate derivatives, fixed income and/or foreign exchange operationsExperience with middle market commercial client service a plusSelf-starter with strong financial and interpersonal skillsExperience with financial market products Good attention to detail Skilled at adapting to new technical applicationsWorking knowledge of ISDA Master documents a plus

Supervisory Responsibility, if any:   

Manage a small team of Interest Rate & Foreign Exchange Operation Specialists
