A Leading Insurance Company located in Wilmington, Delaware is searching for a Senior Financial Analyst with responsibilities as follows:

- Develop non-standard financial statements and reports including monthly and quarterly byline reports and supporting schedules consistent with Comptroller’s calendar

- Implement system reporting changes through design of key management reports utilizing Hyperion Essbase and design either executive viewer reports or excel adding feature

- Support and analyze specific region as assigned

- Assist in the budget process with specific region as assigned

- Assist in the completion of the quarterly management discussion and analysis

- Assist with the month end close process

- Prepare monthly management reporting package

- Analyze results

- Forecasting and strategic planning

- Interact with marketing, sales and operations

Qualified candidates will possess:

- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA a plus

- 5+ years of experience

- Strong quantitative and analytical abilities

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Prior experience with Hyperion Essbase a plus

The total compensation range for this opportunity is $67,000 to $85,000 with excellent benefits (medical/dental) and a 401k plan with match.
