SENIOR FINANCE MANAGER - (Distribution, Manufacturing or Plant Industry)  (Inventory background a must!)

Argo Turboserve Corporation (ATC), a prominent Engineering Services Company is currently accepting resumes for a highly motivated and organized “hands on” Senior Finance Manager in our Knoxville, Tennessee location.

Candidate must demonstrate a high level of initiative, possess strong communication/interpersonal skills, be able to perform well under pressure and simultaneously direct multiple tasks. Specific job responsibilities include the following:

Job Responsibilities:

Review and work with the Accounting Department to ensure accurate monthly financial data is provided to management. Provide detailed analysis and feedback of monthly performance.

Sole ownership for the job cost accounting system to include proper cost accumulations, impact of gross margin, relationship with monthly budgets and financials, impact on perpetual inventory, actual vs. budgeted costs and expenses. * Candidate will need to understand in detail ERP job costing rules, reports and systems.

Responsible for multiple special projects related to financial review of operational functions, analysis of customer and product activity and opportunity.

Analyze customer data and assist in new business financial modeling and contract negotiation.

Work closely with divisional leadership to report monthly progress against billing and understand fluctuation in gross profit.

Lead the annual budgeting process for the Utility Services Division.

Assist in the integration of off site locations – New York and Tennessee locations.

Overall finance support for the Sales and Marketing sectors. Assist Corporate Staff with Receivables Management.

Candidate Requirements

BS Degree in Accounting or Finance required. Prior experience in job cost environment required.
CPA a plus.

Minimum 7+ years of professional practice with experience in a supervisory role.

Experience in a manufacturing or distribution or plant industry is required.  Industry background is a must.

Thorough understanding of ERP job costing rules, reports and systems. Strong background in Accounting/ERP Systems required.

Credit management experience is required.

Must be a self starter who possesses strong analytical capability and attention to detail.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Strong Microsoft Office Applications background – MS Excel required, MS Access a plus.

Availability to travel approximately 20% of the time to other Utility Services locations (Chicago, IL, Schenectady, NY and Lyndhurst, NJ.)
