Position Description:

Responsibilities ·Assist in the coordination and preparation of SEC statements and filings which includes: o Forms 10-K, 10-Q and 8-Ks; comfort process; and other related filings o Writing MD&A and gathering support for analysis o Working with external auditors ·Review press release and presentations to external parties as needed ·Support businesses and functional areas on questions and issues that come up during the close ·Support HQ initiatives, such as Policies & Procedures and Unified Oracle ·Special ad hoc projects as necessary Basic: ·Minimum BS in accounting or finance ·CPA preferred ·Strong oral and written communication skills – including ability to draft footnotes and MD&A wording ·Strong computer skills, including desktop and general ledger software ·Attention to detail ·Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse work group ·Ability to foster in a team environment and promote a team environment ·Ability to work in cross functional teams Preferred: ·Insurance or financial services experience ·Public accounting experience ·Previous financial reporting experience ·International experience
