ITT - Advanced Engineering & Sciences has a requirement for a Senior Analyst to support the USAMS effort in Omaha Nebraska. This tasking will begin no later than October 2009. Tasks to be performed include, but are not limited to, the following: Provide staff support as Senior Engineer/Senior Analyst in one of USSTRATCOM's Mission Areas (Combating Weapons of Mass Destruction, Information Operations (including Cyber), Nuclear Deterrence, Global command and Control, Integrated Missile Defense, Space Operations, Global Strike, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance, and Strategic Deterrence. Provides subject matter expertise and the ability to plan, coordinate, integrate, and advocate USSTRATCOM positions with DOD, Services, Agencies, IC, and other COCOMs. Writes position papers, white papers, and staff estimates. Highly proficient writing and briefing skills expected, with appropriate expertise in MSOffice. At the Action Office level, supports working groups, studies and analysis, document reviews, and coordinates meetings as directed. Supports JOPES planning, POM development, training and exercise support, and JCIDS analysis. Military Experience: Company Grade (0-4 to 0-6) or Mid-to-Senior NCO (E-5 to E-7) with at 8-12 years experience. Prefer combat experience or regional combatant commander staff' (both a plus). Require joint, service, or COCOM staff experience, USSTRATCOM experience preferred. Must have affiliation with or service in a major weapons system (F-15, B-1, AEGIS, PATRIOT). Intermediate service school or NCO Academy preferred. Acquisition accreditation appropriate for jobs and years in grade. Non-military subject matter experts must be recognized by publication of peer-reviewed papers on USSTRATCOM-related mission areas. DOD or agency service is preferred. All: BS proffered; experience may substitute for formal education. Preferred disciplines: Math, Science, Engineering, Military Studies.
