Senior Electrical/Utility Engineering Project Manager

 

The successful candidate should have relevant experience including project engineering/management for electrical engineering projects and proven staff supervision capabilities. Typical project experience would include transmission line and substation planning and design. Responsibilities will include project manager/lead engineer for engineering design, technical direction of staff and oversight of electrical/utility projects teams. In addition to project management, the successful candidate will develop, plan, coordinate and direct the engineering work for electrical/utility engineering projects.

 

 

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. A minimum of 10 years electrical engineering experience preferably with detailed substation or transmission line design, and material specification experience. Project management experience with electric utility projects is a must, either as a utility employee or consultant. Registration as a Professional Engineer or the ability to obtain licensure within six-months of hire. Candidates must be able to communicate and work well with clients, vendors and staff.
