Our Client, located on Paradise Island, Bahamas is seeking a Senior Director / Vice President Mega Resort Facilities Management with the following skills and/or abilities: 

 

Confident with ability to pass a very thorough FBI-Like Background Check.

 

Minimum of 5 years in a management position in Facilities management for a Casino and/or Resort.

 

Comfortable reporting to the Senior Vice President of Facilities.

 

Assist in providing effective leadership, support and direction to the management of the facilities of the Mega Resort.

 

Responsible for protecting and safeguarding the resort against unnecessary and costly processes by ensuring that bid and RFP’s are adequately submitted according to standard company guidelines and other compliance practices. 

 

Develop strategies and tactics to generate vendor proposals and contracts for timely delivery, completeness and ensure that controls are implemented and followed according to standard operating procedures.

 

Input and analyze data for life cycle model pre bid submission and post preferred bidder and secure proper approvals and processes for payment.

 

Research data and background on vendors who respond to Requests for Proposals (RFP’s) on projects to be performed and ensuring the integrity of the processes are not compromised.

 

Provide direction and management of the financial resources allocated for capital investments, projects, operating budgets and all other expense related activities.

 

Work with analytics, operations and finance teams to create goals and strategies for project, such as capital to each key target segment.

 

Provide support to the 3,300 room Mega Resort that compromises 200,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space. 

 

Comfortable supporting over 40 restaurants and bars, the Caribbean’s largest casino, 10 tennis courts, a marina with 63 mega yacht slips, 11 pools, 14 acre water park, salon, and spa.

 

Provide oversight and inspects the completeness of projects carried out by all vendors ensuring work is completed to the agreed specifications and requirements.

 

Ensure the integration of processes within the organization to maintain and develop the implementation of agreed services for effectiveness and efficiencies.

 

Monitor and manage the collection of devices, services, processes controls and regulatory systems for the management and optimization of facilities, technical devices and mechanisms.

 

Lead and develop a team of young, motivated, hands-on professionals by establishing metrics, goals, and scalable practices, ensure team’s projects are completed on time, on strategy and on budget.

 

Prioritize projects and initiatives in the monthly Maintenance and Enhancement tracking system.

 

Ensure weekly/monthly performance reports from Engineering Managers are accurate and include insights and recommended next steps.

 

Inspect sites of projects or work performed to ensure pre and post assessment of agreed work requirements.

 

Communicate and work effectively with construction design team, design consultants, architects, in-house operations team and clients in design preparation and evaluation on behalf of the Facilities division.

 

Maintain a close liaison with the in house client and to understand their requirements ensuring design development suitable for efficient in-house Facilities operation.

 

Incorporate Facilities input into design requirements during planning/development and sign-off on final and payments related to same.

 

Formulate suitable strategies with project team in conjunction with the vendor and in-house operation team to meet the demands for present and future.

 

Carry out site survey of project sites, analyze needs and prepare reports.

 

Bachelors degree or higher in engineering or related field.
